<lj:music>Almost Easy -- Avenged Sevenfold</lj:music>

Mommy Nat dragged me to work with her today. Well, I suppose she didn't "drag" me. I hopped into the backpack willingly. And now she's given me the laptop to use while she folds sheets. Poor Nat. Working at a crummy motel. I suppose there are worse things she could be doing...

I don't suppose I've properly introduced myself, have I? My name is Talvi Hikari. I'm half Finnish and half Japanese. I was born in Kyoto, Japan, but moved to Tokyo to an orphanage after my birth mother and father passed away. I don't remember either of them at all, so it's not very sad for me to talk about them. Mommy Nat is the first Mom I've ever really known, and I love her with all my heart. Technically, of course, I'm a Just-Like-You American Girl Doll (Mommy says I'm a #30, but that the number isn't important because my name is Talvi.) I'm permanently stuck in the realm of thirteen, just starting my teenage years. Mommy Nat says I'm grown up for a thirteen year old. I like to think that myself.

I'm an only doll right now, though I know Mommy wants to get me a sister soon. (Though she says my sister will look COMPLETELY different than me.) I don't have an actual bedroom or anything like that, and Mommy says I probably won't have my own room for a few months, though she is trying to make a space for me in the bedroom she shares with Daddy Ben. Right now, I sleep with Mommy Nat and Daddy Ben in their bed, but that's because I don't have a bed of my own!

And it sounds like Mommy Nat's almost done with the laundry load she was working on. I suppose I'll need to give her back the laptop. >.<' Oh well. For a human, Mommy Nat's about as good as they come. She's going to play with my hair some more tonight when we get home from her work. Tomorrow, we won't have much time to play because she and Daddy Ben are going to completely clean the apartment. (Which means I should get my space!)

Sincerest Wishes,

~Talvi
